When kids Bowel and Bladder Function Goes Wrong!

Pediatric bowel and bladder disorders (daytime urinary leakage, dysfunctional voiding, encopresis -fecal leakage, bedwetting and constipation) are common and can have significant consequences on quality of life for the child and the family, as well as negative health consequences to the lower urinary tract if left untreated. The purpose of this lecture is to introduce the concepts of urotherapy treatment as a safe, inexpensive, and effective treatment option for children with pediatric voiding dysfunction. Since these issues can persist into adulthood, we must direct attention to the pediatric population to improve the health of all our patients.
